Mission Objective
Providing a simple, nutritious, and balanced ‘meal in a bag’ for those in need not only provides a complete meal now but also provides planning for future meals through the recipe included with each bag. We call this, “Filling bellies with dignity.”
For the church/ministry, the ‘meal in a bag’ creates a strategic, efficient, and intentional way to share food with others, provides the opportunity to build relationships, and share the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
How Mobile Manna works
- Several simple recipes are chosen from our library, or you can choose your own.
- Recipes are
- about 5 ingredients or less
- kid friendly
- nutritionally balanced/generally healthy
- most ingredients are non-perishable
- Food is collected
- Food is bagged (each bag contains the ingredients for the meal and the recipe)
- Church/ministry can choose (or not) to include a small ($10 or less) gift card for the purchase of the 1 or 2 perishable items (if needed for recipe)
- Ministry chooses where/how to distribute the meals
- Distribution is intended to be relational

There is no formal fee/charge for the Mobile Manna Ministry Plan and us helping you get this ministry off the ground for your church or ministry. As a Seed2Life team, we just want to see God’s people serving their communities and sharing the Good News of Jesus.
